The gîte is next door to the artist gallery of Jean-Paul Landreau. The gîte is situated in the heart of the Venise verte in The Marais Poitevin close to Niort and la Rochelle.
The artist gîte is a detached house in a quiet rural setting with a large front and back garden;the accomodation offers a 3 bedrooms for 6 persons.

The living room sitting room and kitchen are in one and has a fireplace . Equipment of the kitchen is standard with oven, gas top , fridge freezer, micro-oven, and dish washer.
the kitchen lead onto a large terrace (16m2) ,outdoor a pleasant view of the marais and the poplars trees . The back garden has a barbecue table and chairs .
The area is perfect for walking and cycling with numerous cycling path all mapped, fishing and boating are also popular . The seaside is at about an hour away, so is The Futuroscope near Poitiers. Rental bicycles are available 3 miles away from the gîte.
